Stabiplan Announced the Release of Stabicad for BIM

Bodegraven, Netherlands: Throughout the complete designing procedure, engineers from different parties keep on adding information to the BIM model in each level. Stabiplan announced the release of Stabicad for BIM as it supports designers and engineers throughout the complete workflow for their projects. It helps in attaining the right information from the model whenever required.

With Stabicad 3D design, technical drawings, mechanical diagrams, calculations or bill of materials. Stabicad is BIM-proof and supports multiple platforms such as Revit and CAD, and can also exchange between both via Exchange functionality easily. Collaboration on BIM projects can be done via desktop and tablet through cloud technology.

User can start working in Stabicad immediately with each submitted building models, be it from any platform. The model can be submitted in the desired file format, once the designing the installation is complete. Stabicad provides all that is required for exchanging models and projects between Revit and CAD. User can opt for the most applicable platform for each project phase which will permit all the parties to collaborate optimally.

With Stabicad engineers can obtain the right information at every stage of the design. Easy change of the model level from generic to specific to detailed and back again is possible. Models can be continuously modified and enhanced with information. All the parameters necessary for calculations and trade information for calculation are available in the product databases or included directly to the model by the use of simple links.

The frequent alterations during the workflow and the technical installation system can be simply adapted with Stabicad by using functionality like the conversion of an entire system to another material or manufacturer, the node solver and the modelling of pipe systems directly from the Palette Center.

The Stabicad user has various technical installation elements for Stabicad for Revit as well as Stabicad for AutoCAD like VAV boxes in Ventilation and base plate pumps in Sewerage. Various specific mechanical content are available on MEPcontent such as climate control and heating products like radiators and air conditioning, house fans from Buva, IthoDaalderop and Orcon, and flush-fit reservoirs from Geberit & Wisa, Remeha Cascades.
